ShareMaestro now provides share valuation data

ShareMaestro clients now have exclusive access to data for producing bulk share valuations. In association with ShareScope, we now provide a data file for valuing shares in the FTSE All-Share index. Clients can download the file and process it using the unique ShareMaestro bulk share valuation engine to get individual valuations for each share* in the index. The file consists of factual data from ShareScope and judgemental data derived from ShareMaestro algorithms.

Exclusive access to data

ShareMaestro clients, including those taking the 30 day trial, are given exclusive access to a data file for all shares* in the FTSE All-Share index. This file is not available elsewhere. The file is normally available for downloading within 24 hours of the end of the week's UK trading and has all the fields necessary for ShareMaestro valuations.

Using the data for Bulk Share Valuation

It is easy to process the data file with the ShareMaestro bulk share valuation engine and obtain individual valuations for the shares in the FTSE All-Share Index.

Simple customisation

It is simple to customise the valuations to your own requirements. Clear instructions are given in the User Manual:

Before bulk processing, you can modify, to your own view, the common judgemental fields in the data file which affect all the share valuations in the run.
You can change any of the judgemental input values for individual shares (including supplying any missing data).
After the bulk valuation run, you can edit the valuations for individual shares by selecting the share valuation ID in the bulk upload window, modifying the appropriate fields and recalculating.

Reviewing the valuations

You should never take an automated share valuation at face value. You should always validate the valuations for shortlisted shares by further investigation, as described in the User Manual.
